Why is this not priced per page?
Because page count is a fake metric. Trackers install site-wide, so a hundred pages are usually the same finding a hundred times. We price by page type — a form page, a checkout, a booking flow — because those behave differently and each one has to be opened separately.
Do you remove the trackers?
Your web person or agency does, usually in a few minutes in the tag manager, working from our list: each tracker, where it loads from, and when it fired. Then we re-open the page and confirm the change held. Keeping the work and the check in separate hands is what makes the record independent.
Why would I pay every month if we fix it once?
Two reasons, and the second is the one nobody expects. Trackers come back on their own, through plugin updates and tag manager access nobody audits. And the moment you gate trackers behind consent, your analytics numbers drop, because those tools now only count visitors who pressed accept. We sit outside your site, so we can tell you how much of that drop is the gate and how much is real.
Why would my lawyer commission the check?
Some lawyers prefer to hire the outside check themselves, so they decide how the findings are handled and who sees them. Whether that suits you is their call. The check itself is the same either way.
Is this legal advice?
No. We are not a law firm and we do not litigate. The packet names which statutes are commonly raised in connection with each technology, so that if you hand it to a lawyer they are not starting from zero. What any of it means for your site is a question for counsel.
Can my own team not just check it?
They can, and they should. But a record you produced about yourself is a claim, not evidence — nothing stops it being written after the fact, and opposing counsel will say exactly that. An outside record is different. Same reason your books get audited by somebody outside the company.
What can you not tell me?
Anything behind a login. We will not promise tag names inside your tag manager container, click paths in your admin, or anything a visitor cannot reach. We tell you exactly what fires, when, and where it loads from, and the exact test we will run again.
